The Bubazi-Imanzi School is located in a rural environment of the Southern Province in Kamonyi District, Kayenzi Sector and Bugarama cell in the village of Remera. The school is located 11 km from the main Kigali-Muhanga road. on the southern edge of the Kayenzi sector and the KARAMA sector and is next to the EPR BUBAZI Parish of the REMERA Presbytery.
2. History of the school
The Bubazi-IMANZI School is a school founded in 1941 by the German Protestant Missionaries whose mission is to evangelize and alphabetize illiterate adults and young people. It was in 1947 that the Belgian Missionaries declared that Bubazi is a Primary school with the Mission of teaching children to read and write. Bubazi was founded at this time to provide only literacy starting with the first year. The promoter of the GS Bubazi-Imanzi school is the Presbyterian Church in Rwanda, which is why it is freely subsidized because it is up to the Rwandan Government to pay the salaries of the Primary and Secondary and even the Administrative staff in place, namely Headteacher, the dean of Studies and the Secretary-Accountant; not to exclude part of the running costs of the School (Captation Grant). It was in 2009 that GS Bubazi-Imanzi became a secondary school with ‘Day school. It has four systems: preschool, primary, common core and three Sections in order to allow all children to complete their secondary studies according to the Government policy of 12 years of Free Education. G.S Bubazi -Imanzi opened three sections in order to allow all the children who have not had the chance to have a note allowing them to enter the Schools of Excellence. The levels chosen are as follows: the end of Primary and the Sections, namely:
a) Science (Mathematics, Computer-Economics).
b) Language (English, Kinyarwanda and Swahili),
c) Art (History, Economy and Geography).
3. Existing infrastructure within the school
The school has 21 classes with sustainable materials (fired bricks and glazed doors and windows), three of which are used for other services such as
The Library (library), Teachers’ room and a room known as ” SMART CLASS ” housing the ” POSITIVO BGH ” computers. Our school benefits from a continuous electronic network. The Primary school has 9 adobe brick premises which have been rehabilitated.
The school also includes the office of the administrative staff such as the Headteacher of the school, the Dean of studies as well as the accounting -secretary of the school; there are also 36 toilets including 18 for boys and 18 for girls.

Die Bubazi-Imanzi Schule befindet sich in einer ländlichen Umgebung der Südprovinz im Kamonyi Distrikt, Kayenzi Sektor und Bugarama Zelle im Dorf Remera. Die Schule liegt 11 km von der Hauptstraße Kigali-Muhanga entfernt am südlichen Rand des Kayenzi-Sektors und des KARAMA-Sektors und grenzt an die EPR BUBAZI-Gemeinde des REMERA-Presbyteriums.
2. Geschichte der Schule
Die Bubazi-IMANZI-Schule ist eine Schule, die 1941 von den deutschen protestantischen Missionaren gegründet wurde, deren Aufgabe es ist, erwachsene Analphabeten und Jugendliche zu evangelisieren und zu alphabetisieren. Im Jahr 1947 erklärten die belgischen Missionare, dass Bubazi eine Grundschule mit dem Auftrag ist, Kindern das Lesen und Schreiben beizubringen. Bubazi wurde damals gegründet, um ab dem ersten Schuljahr ausschließlich Alphabetisierung anzubieten. Der Träger der GS Bubazi-Imanzi ist die Presbyterianische Kirche in Ruanda, weshalb die Schule kostenlos subventioniert wird, denn die ruandische Regierung muss die Gehälter des Grund- und Sekundarschulpersonals und sogar des Verwaltungspersonals, nämlich des Schulleiters, des Studiendekans und des Buchhalters, bezahlen; auch ein Teil der laufenden Kosten der Schule (Captation Grant) wird übernommen. Im Jahr 2009 wurde die GS Bubazi-Imanzi zu einer Sekundarschule mit Tagesschule. Sie verfügt über vier Systeme: Vorschule, Grundschule, gemeinsamer Kern und drei Sektionen, um allen Kindern die Möglichkeit zu geben, ihre Sekundarschulbildung gemäß der Regierungspolitik der 12 Jahre kostenlosen Bildung abzuschließen. Die G.S Bubazi -Imanzi hat drei Sektionen eröffnet, um allen Kindern, die keine Chance hatten, einen Schein zu geben, der ihnen den Eintritt in die Exzellenzschulen ermöglicht. Es wurden folgende Stufen gewählt: das Ende der Primarstufe und die Sektionen, nämlich
a) Naturwissenschaften (Mathematik, Computer-Wirtschaft).
b) Sprache (Englisch, Kinyarwanda und Swahili),
c) Kunst (Geschichte, Wirtschaft und Geographie).
3. Vorhandene Infrastruktur in der Schule
Die Schule verfügt über 21 Klassen mit nachhaltigen Materialien (gebrannte Ziegel und verglaste Türen und Fenster), von denen drei für andere Dienste genutzt werden, wie
Die Bibliothek, das Lehrerzimmer und ein Raum mit der Bezeichnung “SMART CLASS”, in dem die “POSITIVO BGH”-Computer untergebracht sind. Unsere Schule profitiert von einem kontinuierlichen elektronischen Netzwerk. Die Grundschule verfügt über 9 Lehmziegelgebäude, die saniert wurden.
In der Schule befinden sich auch die Büros der Verwaltungsangestellten wie des Schulleiters, des Studiendekans und der Buchhaltungssekretärin der Schule; außerdem gibt es 36 Toiletten, davon 18 für Jungen und 18 für Mädchen.

L’école Bubazi-Imanzi est située dans un environnement rural de la Province du Sud dans le district de Kamonyi, secteur Kayenzi et cellule Bugarama dans le village de Remera. L’école est située à 11 km de la route principale Kigali-Muhanga, à la limite sud du secteur Kayenzi et du secteur KARAMA et à côté de la paroisse EPR BUBAZI du presbytère de REMERA.
2. Histoire de l’école
L’Ecole Bubazi-IMANZI est une école fondée en 1941 par les Missionnaires Protestants Allemands dont la mission est d’évangéliser et d’alphabétiser les adultes et les jeunes analphabètes. C’est en 1947 que les Missionnaires belges déclarent que Bubazi est une école primaire dont la mission est d’apprendre aux enfants à lire et à écrire. Bubazi a été fondée à cette époque pour n’assurer que l’alphabétisation à partir de la première année. Le promoteur de l’école GS Bubazi-Imanzi est l’Eglise presbytérienne du Rwanda, c’est pourquoi elle est gratuitement subventionnée car c’est au Gouvernement rwandais de payer les salaires des Primaires et Secondaires et même du personnel administratif en place, à savoir le Directeur d’école, le doyen des études et le secrétaire-comptable ; sans exclure une partie des frais de fonctionnement de l’école (Captation Grant). C’est en 2009 que le GS Bubazi-Imanzi est devenu une école secondaire avec externat. Elle dispose de quatre systèmes : préscolaire, primaire, tronc commun et trois sections afin de permettre à tous les enfants de terminer leurs études secondaires conformément à la politique gouvernementale de 12 ans d’éducation gratuite. G.S Bubazi -Imanzi a ouvert trois sections afin de permettre à tous les enfants qui n’ont pas eu la chance d’avoir une note leur permettant d’entrer dans les écoles d’excellence. Les niveaux choisis sont les suivants : la fin du primaire et les sections, à savoir :
a) Sciences (Mathématiques, Informatique-Economie).
b) Langues (anglais, kinyarwanda et swahili),
c) Art (histoire, économie et géographie).
3. Infrastructure existante au sein de l’école
L’école dispose de 21 classes avec des matériaux durables (briques cuites et portes et fenêtres vitrées), dont trois sont utilisées pour d’autres services tels que
La bibliothèque, la salle des professeurs et une salle appelée ” SMART CLASS ” qui abrite les ordinateurs ” POSITIVO BGH “. Notre école bénéficie d’un réseau électronique continu. L’école primaire dispose de 9 locaux en briques d’adobe qui ont été réhabilités.
L’école comprend également le bureau du personnel administratif tel que le Directeur de l’école, le Doyen des études ainsi que le secrétaire comptable de l’école ; il y a également 36 toilettes dont 18 pour les garçons et 18 pour les filles.
