It is with great joy that we warmly congratulate our esteemed council member and spokesperson for the GPEN Council, the Right Reverend Eraste Bigirimana, Bishop of Bujumbura, on his election as Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Burundi. May the Holy Spirit guide and strengthen him in his new office. The ordination will take place in August. We pray that God may bless him in his ministry and grant him the wisdom and courage to fulfil the task entrusted to him with the power of the Holy Spirit and in the service of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
