St Mark’s Church of England Primary School is a small rural primary school with 85 children on roll. It was opened in 1849, shortly after St Mark’s Church was established nearby. It serves families from Staplefield, but also surrounding villages and towns.
This is a safe, happy and caring school. Each child is treated as an individual and we believe that education is very much a partnership between home and school.
Children coming into school bring a wealth of knowledge and understanding about the world around them. It is our aim to build on these skills and promote a willingness and enthusiasm to learn more!
