BHL is under the North-Western Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania in Bukoba. It is at Ruhija campus. The school is for girls and boys Form I to Form IV. Since it started this year 2017, it has only Form I. The school will be remembered as it officially started in the year of 500 years of reformation.
