From 16 to 19 June 2026, OIDEL hosted the fourth edition of its Summer University on Education and Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland.
Timm Wünsch participated in the Summer University on behalf of GPEN and took the opportunity to participate in current international debates on educational pluralism and to strengthen cooperation with partners working to promote educational freedom and the right to education around the world.
The Summer University offered the opportunity to attend lectures by a wide range of internationally recognised experts, including Ashley Berner, Nuno Crato, Harry Partrinos, David Steiner and Ignasi Grau, amongst others, and to gain a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of advocacy and policy processes at the international level.
GPEN would like to thank OIDEL for the excellent organisation of the Summer University and for the many fascinating insights it provided.
